THE MISSION
For the Black Kid, Inc. - a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization - informs, empowers, and liberates Black youth by partnering with schools and community organizations who work directly with Black youth and Black families. Through our programming, we provide youth ages 11 - 17 with access to rich educational opportunities that challenge the structures upholding white supremacy and immerses and centers youth in experiences that reflect our core principles – Black history, holistic wellness, entrepreneurship, innovation, and the importance of circulating the Black dollar.
THE VISION
The vision of for the black kid, inc. is to cultivate a generation of Black youth who know the truth of who they are and where they come from, who value wellness, who are unafraid to be critical of oppressive systems, who are free to explore their creativity, and who understand the power in spending our dollar in our communities.
